Description
Make rich, chewy cookies inspired by the candy bar using only five simple ingredients. These cookies feature coconut, chocolate, and almonds for a fast dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sweetened coconut
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, shredded coconut, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Press a few extra sliced almonds onto the top of each cookie mound.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
- You can toast the sliced almonds lightly before adding them to the tops for extra crunch.
- Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to four days.
