Description

Make rich, chewy cookies inspired by the candy bar using only five simple ingredients. These cookies feature coconut, chocolate, and almonds for a fast dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, shredded coconut, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
  3. Drop rounded tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
  4. Press a few extra sliced almonds onto the top of each cookie mound.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
  • You can toast the sliced almonds lightly before adding them to the tops for extra crunch.
  • Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to four days.
