Description

Create an elegant and simple appetizer by baking a wheel of Brie topped with fig jam and nuts until it’s perfectly gooey and ready to be shared.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) wheel of Brie cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fig jam
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Crackers or baguette slices for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the wheel of Brie on a small oven-safe dish or baking sheet.
  3. Spread the fig jam evenly over the top of the Brie.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the fig jam.
  5. Drizzle with honey, if desired.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and gooey in the center.
  7. Serve immediately with crackers or baguette slices.

Notes

  • Ensure the Brie is at room temperature for about 30 minutes before baking for even melting.
  • You can substitute other fruit jams like apricot or cherry if fig jam is unavailable.
  • For a different flavor profile, try adding a sprinkle of fresh thyme or rosemary before baking.
