Description
Make a flavorful, juicy baked ranch chicken using just a few ingredients. This recipe is simple enough for a weeknight dinner and great for meal prep.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the dry ranch seasoning mix with the mayonnaise or Greek yogurt until fully combined.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the ranch mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
- If using, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the ranch coating.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius).
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra moisture, you can use chicken thighs instead of breasts; adjust baking time as needed.
- If you prefer a lighter coating, use only 1/3 cup of the mayonnaise or yogurt.
- This chicken reheats well for lunch the next day.
