Description

Make tender, flaky salmon fillets in under 30 minutes using this simple honey garlic butter sauce. This recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners and requires minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, parsley, and black pepper to create the glaze.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Spoon the honey garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Arrange a thin slice of lemon on top of each fillet, if desired.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can broil the salmon for the last 1-2 minutes to caramelize the glaze, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • This recipe works well for meal prep; store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • If you prefer a lemon butter profile, substitute the honey with 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and increase the butter to 3 tablespoons.
