Description

Make flavorful BBQ chicken wraps quickly using pre-cooked chicken and a simple smoky honey sauce. This recipe is designed for busy schedules.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup pre-made coleslaw mix
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. This is your smoky honey BBQ sauce.
  2. Place the shredded cooked chicken in a medium skillet over medium heat. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken. Stir until the chicken is fully coated and heated through, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and salt. Mix well to create a quick, tangy slaw.
  4. Warm the flour tortillas briefly in a dry pan or microwave to make them pliable.
  5. To assemble, place a portion of the sauced BBQ chicken down the center of each warm tortilla.
  6. Top the chicken with a spoonful of the prepared coleslaw.
  7. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom to create your wrap. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken to save significant time on cooking the chicken.
  • For extra flavor, toast the tortillas lightly in the skillet before adding the filling.
  • You can prepare the coleslaw up to one day ahead of time.
