- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Mix well.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from the wok.
- Add broccoli to the wok and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return beef to the wok. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli.
- Stir and cook until the sauce thickens and coats everything.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra tender beef, marinate it in a mixture of soy sauce, cornstarch, and a little oil for at least 30 minutes.
- Add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for more color and nutrients.
- Serve over steamed rice.
