A refreshing blend of berries, hibiscus, and lemon, perfect for a warm day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 hibiscus tea bags
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sweetener (honey, agave, or sugar), adjust to taste
  • Ice
  • Lemon slices and extra berries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the berries in a pitcher and lightly muddle them.
  2. Add the hibiscus tea bags to the pitcher.
  3. Pour the boiling water over the berries and tea bags. Let steep for 5-10 minutes, or until the desired strength is reached.
  4. Remove the tea bags and discard.
  5. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and sweetener. Taste and adjust sweetener as needed.
  6. Allow the lemonade to cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  7. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and extra berries.

Notes

  • You can use fresh or frozen berries. If using frozen, there’s no need to thaw them first.
  • Adjust the amount of sweetener to your preference. You can also use a sugar substitute.
  • For a sparkling version, top with club soda or sparkling water.
