Description
A rich, warm, and cheesy dip flavored with roasted garlic, perfect for serving with crusty bread.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves roasted garlic, mashed
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch pie dish or small oven-safe skillet.
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Stir in the 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, mashed roasted garlic, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese over the top of the dip.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese topping is melted and lightly golden brown.
- Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving hot with sliced bread or crackers.
Notes
- To roast garlic, cut the top off a head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 40 minutes until soft.
- You can substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a slightly lighter version.
- Serve with sliced baguette, sourdough bread, or sturdy crackers.
