Description

A rich, warm, and cheesy dip flavored with roasted garlic, perfect for serving with crusty bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves roasted garlic, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch pie dish or small oven-safe skillet.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Stir in the 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, mashed roasted garlic, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese over the top of the dip.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese topping is melted and lightly golden brown.
  7. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving hot with sliced bread or crackers.

Notes

  • To roast garlic, cut the top off a head of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 40 minutes until soft.
  • You can substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a slightly lighter version.
  • Serve with sliced baguette, sourdough bread, or sturdy crackers.
