Description

This Blue Cheese & Fig Flatbread is a sophisticated yet easy-to-make appetizer perfect for impressing guests. It features a crisp, thin crust generously topped with sweet fig jam, tangy blue cheese, and a sprinkle of fresh thyme.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12-inch) pre-made thin pizza crust or naan bread
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for brushing crust)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If using, lightly brush the crust with olive oil.
  2. Spread the fig jam evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a small border.
  3. Scatter the crumbled blue cheese over the fig jam.
  4. Sprinkle the fresh thyme leaves on top.
  5. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter finish, drizzle with a balsamic glaze before serving.
  • If you don’t have fresh thyme, you can use 1 teaspoon of dried thyme.
  • You can substitute goat cheese for blue cheese if preferred.
