Description
A simple recipe for baking salmon fillets topped with creamy Boursin cheese for a quick, flavorful meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 4 tablespoons Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Rub the top of each fillet lightly with olive oil. Sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.
- Spread one tablespoon of Boursin cheese evenly over the top surface of each salmon fillet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute the olive oil with melted butter for a richer flavor.
- If you prefer a crispier top, place the baking sheet under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning the cheese.
- This dish pairs well with roasted asparagus or a simple green salad.
