Description

Crispy cauliflower bites coated in a tangy buffalo sauce, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated. Let any excess batter drip off.
  4. Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and the coating is lightly golden and crispy.
  6. While the cauliflower is baking, combine the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a small bowl.
  7. Once the cauliflower is baked, remove it from the oven and transfer it to a clean bowl.
  8. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the cauliflower and gently toss to coat evenly.
  9. Return the coated cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce is slightly thickened and bubbly.
  10. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Notes

  • For extra crispy bites, you can broil them for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your preference.
  • These bites are best served immediately.
