- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Butter or cooking spray for waffle maker
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, mozzarella cheese, and cheddar cheese until well combined.
- Preheat your waffle maker and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour half of the cheese and egg mixture into the waffle maker, spreading it evenly. Close the lid and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining mixture to make a second chaffle.
- While the chaffles are cooking, drain the tuna thoroughly.
- In a separate bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, chopped celery, and chopped red onion.
- Season the tuna mixture with salt and black pepper to your liking.
- Once the chaffles are cooked, place one chaffle on a plate.
- Spoon the tuna salad mixture evenly over the chaffle.
- Top with the second chaffle.

- You can add a slice of cheese on top of the tuna mixture before placing the second chaffle for an extra cheesy melt.
