Description

Make soft, gooey cinnamon roll bites quickly using refrigerated biscuit dough baked in a buttery cinnamon sugar syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16.3 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. Open the biscuit dough can and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into four equal pieces.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together. Toss the biscuit pieces in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  4. Arrange the coated biscuit pieces in the prepared baking pan.
  5. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the brown sugar until combined. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the butter mixture evenly over the biscuit pieces in the pan.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let the bites cool in the pan for 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

  • For extra glaze, whisk together 1 cup powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons milk after the bites come out of the oven, then drizzle over the top.
  • You can use crescent roll dough instead of biscuit dough for a slightly flakier texture.
  • If you prefer an air fryer method, cook at 320 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes, checking frequently.
