Description

This is a classic ground beef taco recipe perfect for a fun family taco night. It features seasoned ground beef and simple, customizable toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 12 taco shells
  • Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  3. Warm the taco shells according to package directions.
  4. Spoon the seasoned ground beef into the taco shells.
  5. Serve with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • For a spicier taco, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to the meat mixture.
