- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 3/4 cup water
- 12 taco shells
- Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Warm the taco shells according to package directions.
- Spoon the seasoned ground beef into the taco shells.
- Serve with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For a spicier taco, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to the meat mixture.
- If you don’t have taco seasoning, you can make your own with chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of oregano.
