Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, gently combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Do not overmix.
  3. Roll the mixture into small, uniform meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs bake, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, whisk together the cranberry sauce, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Heat the sauce over medium heat until it simmers and is well combined.
  7. Remove the meatballs from the oven. Gently transfer them to a large skillet or slow cooker.
  8. Pour the cranberry BBQ sauce over the meatballs. Toss gently to coat them completely.
  9. Simmer on low heat or keep warm until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For an extra layer of flavor, toast the bread crumbs lightly before adding them to the meat mixture.
  • These meatballs freeze well before or after saucing. Thaw completely before reheating.
  • Serve immediately with toothpicks for easy party grabbing.
