Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, gently combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Do not overmix.
- Roll the mixture into small, uniform meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs for 15 to 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs bake, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, whisk together the cranberry sauce, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Heat the sauce over medium heat until it simmers and is well combined.
- Remove the meatballs from the oven. Gently transfer them to a large skillet or slow cooker.
- Pour the cranberry BBQ sauce over the meatballs. Toss gently to coat them completely.
- Simmer on low heat or keep warm until ready to serve.
Notes
- For an extra layer of flavor, toast the bread crumbs lightly before adding them to the meat mixture.
- These meatballs freeze well before or after saucing. Thaw completely before reheating.
- Serve immediately with toothpicks for easy party grabbing.
