Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and lightly browned.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the cranberry sauce, orange juice, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard.
  7. Heat the glaze over medium heat, stirring until it’s smooth and slightly thickened.
  8. Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and drain any excess fat.
  9. Pour the glaze over the meatballs and toss to coat them evenly.
  10. Return the glazed meatballs to the oven for another 5 minutes to allow the glaze to set.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For an extra festive touch, garnish with fresh cranberries and orange zest.
  • These meatballs can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
  • Adjust the sweetness of the glaze by adding a little more cranberry sauce or a touch of honey if desired.
