- 1 (12 ounce) can Coca-Cola
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together Coca-Cola, barbecue sauce, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shreds.
- Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
- Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to coat with the sauce.
- Serve hot.

- For a thicker sauce, you can remove the lid for the last 30 minutes of cooking on high.
