Description
Bake chicken breasts coated in a simple, creamy Caesar Parmesan sauce for a flavorful weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix the Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise (or yogurt), garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined. This is your creamy sauce.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon the creamy Caesar sauce evenly over the top of each chicken breast, spreading it to cover completely.
- If using, sprinkle the panko breadcrumbs over the sauce layer.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) and the topping is golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lower-fat version, substitute the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
- You can pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness (about 3/4 inch) to promote faster and more even cooking.
- Serve this chicken over pasta, rice, or alongside a fresh Caesar salad.
