Description

Make this simple, refreshing watermelon smoothie quickly. It uses few ingredients and is perfect for a light breakfast or a cooling summer snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups cubed seedless watermelon, frozen
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup water or coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen watermelon cubes, frozen strawberries, water or coconut water, and lime juice into your blender.
  2. Add the optional sweetener if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  4. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more liquid and blend again briefly.
  5. Pour immediately into glasses and serve cold.

Notes

  • For a thicker, bowl-style smoothie, reduce the added liquid to 1/4 cup.
  • Use only frozen fruit to achieve the best creamy texture without adding ice.
  • If you do not have frozen watermelon, use fresh watermelon and add 1/2 cup of ice cubes.
