Description

These Everything Bagel Spiced Deviled Eggs are a savory, texture-rich twist on a classic. They combine the creamy filling of traditional deviled eggs with the irresistible crunch and flavor of everything bagel seasoning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning, plus more for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan. Cover with cold water by 1 inch.
  2. Bring water to a rolling boil over high heat. Once boiling, immediately remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Drain hot water and transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes to stop cooking.
  4. Peel the cooled eggs carefully. Cut each egg in half lengthwise.
  5. Gently remove the yolks and place them in a medium bowl.
  6. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.
  7. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper to the mashed yolks. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  8. Stir in 2 tablespoons of everything bagel seasoning.
  9. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  10. Garnish with additional everything bagel seasoning and chopped fresh chives, if desired.
  11. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For easier peeling, use eggs that are a few days old.
  • Adjust the amount of everything bagel seasoning to your preference.
  • For a smoother filling, use a food processor to blend the yolk mixture.
