Description

This Fried Pickle Dip captures the irresistible flavor of fried pickles in a creamy, scoopable appetizer. It’s perfect for parties and gatherings, offering all the tangy, savory goodness without the frying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Stir in the chopped dill pickles and pickle juice.
  4. Add the flour, dried dill weed, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are incorporated.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into a small oven-safe dish or a small cast-iron skillet.
  6. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and lightly golden brown around the edges.
  8. Garnish with fresh dill before serving.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • You can adjust the amount of pickles and pickle juice to your taste.
  • If you don’t have fresh dill, you can omit the garnish or use a little more dried dill in the dip.
