Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bunch kale, stems removed and torn into chip-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Wash and thoroughly dry the kale. Ensure the kale is completely dry to achieve maximum crispiness.
- In a large bowl, toss the kale pieces with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the kale in a single layer on a baking sheet. Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are crispy but not burnt. Keep a close eye on them as they can burn quickly.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. The residual heat will help the cheese adhere.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Ensure kale is very dry before seasoning for best results.
- Baking time may vary depending on your oven.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
