Description
Make a refreshing Hibiscus Agua Fresca.
Ingredients

- 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
- 8 cups water
- 1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- Lime slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the dried hibiscus flowers under cold water.
- In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the rinsed hibiscus flowers to the boiling water.
- Remove from heat, cover, and let steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a pitcher, discarding the hibiscus flowers.
- Stir in the sugar until dissolved. Taste and add more sugar if desired.
- Let the agua fresca cool completely.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Serve over ice with a lime slice for garnish if desired.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of sugar to your preference.
- For a stronger flavor, steep the hibiscus flowers for a longer time.
- This can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
