Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup honey, or to taste
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Steep the lavender buds in boiling water for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Strain out the lavender buds and discard them.
  3. While the lavender infusion is still warm, stir in the honey until it dissolves completely.
  4. Let the honey-lavender syrup cool to room temperature.
  5. In a pitcher, combine the cooled syrup with 4 cups of cold water.
  6. Stir well.
  7. Fill glasses with ice cubes.
  8. Pour the iced tea over the ice.
  9. Garnish with fresh lavender sprigs and lemon slices, if desired.
