Description

These Honey Sriracha Salmon Bites are a quick, flavorful, and slightly spicy-sweet air fryer treat. They’re perfect for snacking, appetizers, or adding to your favorite bowls for a delicious protein boost.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skinless and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • Optional Garnish:
  • Sesame seeds
  • Chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients: honey, sriracha, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  4. Place the seasoned salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches depending on your air fryer size.
  5. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. While the salmon is cooking, gently warm the sauce in a small saucepan over low heat or in the microwave for a few seconds. Do not boil.
  7. Once the salmon is cooked, carefully place the hot salmon bites into the warmed sauce and toss gently to coat.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of sriracha to make the bites spicier or milder.
  • Ensure not to overcook the salmon, as it can become dry.
  • For a deeper flavor, you can marinate the salmon in half the sauce for 15-20 minutes before air frying.
