Refreshing lemonade with a hint of lavender.
Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water (for syrup)
- 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 3 cups cold water
- Ice
- Lemon slices and lavender sprigs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Make the lavender syrup. Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add the dried lavender. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat. Let steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the lavender syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher. Discard the lavender.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and 3 cups of cold water to the pitcher with the lavender syrup. Stir well to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Serve over ice. Garnish with lemon slices and lavender sprigs if desired.
Notes
- Use culinary grade lavender for the best flavor.
- Adjust the amount of lavender for a stronger or milder flavor.
- The syrup can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
