- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles, cooked according to package directions
- 1 cup crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken pieces, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Add the cooked egg noodles to the chicken mixture and gently fold them in.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the crushed buttery crackers with the melted butter. Sprinkle this topping evenly over the casserole.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

- You can use rotisserie chicken for a quicker preparation.
- Add a pinch of paprika to the cracker topping for extra color.
