Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the heat-treated flour to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Press the mixture evenly into an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.

Notes
