Description

Satisfy your chocolate cravings with this delicious Peanut Butter Cup Granola. It’s a crunchy, homemade granola packed with cocoa for a healthier sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanut butter cups (optional, for extra indulgence)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well combined and the oats are evenly coated.
  5. Spread the granola mixture in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the granola is golden brown and crunchy.
  7. Let the granola cool completely on the baking sheet. It will crisp up as it cools.
  8. If using, stir in the chopped peanut butter cups once the granola has cooled.
  9. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

  • For a less sweet granola, reduce the honey or maple syrup.
  • Add your favorite nuts or seeds for extra texture and nutrition.
  • This granola is great with yogurt, milk, or simply as a snack.
