Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup fruit jelly or jam (your favorite flavor)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the peanut butter to the cream mixture. Whisk until the peanut butter is mostly incorporated. Some small lumps are okay.
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- During the last 5 minutes of churning, add the jelly or jam. Continue churning until it’s swirled throughout the ice cream.
- Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
Notes
- Using a good quality jelly or jam will enhance the flavor.
- For a smoother swirl, you can warm the jelly slightly before adding it.
- Feel free to experiment with different jelly flavors like grape, strawberry, or raspberry.
