- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it well.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, peanut butter powder, protein powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the unsweetened applesauce, maple syrup, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in any optional mix-ins you are using.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
