Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of white bread or French bread
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup pesto
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, pesto, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Cut the bread into a grid pattern, making cuts down to, but not through, the bottom crust.
  4. Stuff the pesto chicken and cheese mixture into the cuts in the bread.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture over the top of the bread.
  6. Wrap the bread tightly in aluminum foil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Unwrap the bread and bake for another 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Adjust the amount of pesto to your preference.
