Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Unfold the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface.
- Score a 1-inch border around the edges of the pastry with a knife, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Prick the center of the pastry with a fork several times.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
- While the pastry bakes, whip the softened goat cheese with heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the chopped fresh rosemary, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Once the tart shell is baked, let it cool slightly.
- Spread the whipped goat cheese mixture evenly into the center of the baked tart shell.
- Garnish with a little extra rosemary if desired.
- Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of garlic powder to the goat cheese mixture.
- If you don’t have heavy cream, cream cheese can be used as a substitute, though the texture will be slightly different.
- This tart can be served warm or at room temperature.
