Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pretzels
- 1 cup caramel bits
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Remove from oven.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the warm crust.
- Next, sprinkle the chopped pretzels over the chocolate chips.
- Evenly distribute the caramel bits over the pretzels.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until the caramel is melted and bubbly.
- Let the bars cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. This is important for them to set properly.
- Once completely cooled, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the bars out of the pan. Cut into squares.
Notes
- For an extra salty kick, you can sprinkle a little flaky sea salt on top just before serving.
- Ensure the bars are completely cooled before cutting to prevent them from crumbling.
- Store any leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
