Description

Indulge in these irresistible Salted Caramel Pretzel Magic Bars! They deliver a perfect balance of sweet and salty with a delightful crunch from pretzels and chewy caramel. A truly magical treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pretzels
  • 1 cup caramel bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Remove from oven.
  5. Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the warm crust.
  6. Next, sprinkle the chopped pretzels over the chocolate chips.
  7. Evenly distribute the caramel bits over the pretzels.
  8. Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until the caramel is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let the bars cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. This is important for them to set properly.
  10. Once completely cooled, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the bars out of the pan. Cut into squares.

Notes

  • For an extra salty kick, you can sprinkle a little flaky sea salt on top just before serving.
  • Ensure the bars are completely cooled before cutting to prevent them from crumbling.
  • Store any leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
