- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped cucumber
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Avocado, for serving
- Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
- Cut the shrimp into 1/2-inch pieces.
- In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, lime juice, and orange juice. Stir to coat the shrimp evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.
- Drain any excess liquid from the shrimp.
- Add the red onion, cucumber, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using) to the bowl with the shrimp.
- Gently stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately with sliced avocado and tortilla chips.

- For the best flavor, use fresh citrus juices.
- Adjust the amount of jalapeño to your spice preference.
