Ingredients

  • 2 ounces hot water (not boiling)
  • 8-10 ounces milk of your choice (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or simple syrup) to taste


Instructions

  1. Sift the matcha powder into a bowl to prevent clumps.
  2. Add the hot water to the matcha powder.
  3. Whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk (chasen) or a small whisk until the matcha is fully dissolved and a frothy layer forms on top.
  4. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
