S’mores Brownies: 1 Amazing Recipe

Description

These S’mores Brownies combine the chewy goodness of brownies with the classic campfire flavors of graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow. It’s a delightful treat that brings the taste of s’mores indoors.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips or chunks
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Stir in 1 cup of the milk chocolate chips.
  7. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs over the first layer of batter.
  9. Carefully spread the remaining brownie batter over the graham cracker crumbs.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  11. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of milk chocolate chips and the mini marshmallows over the top.
  12. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until the marshmallows are puffed and lightly golden.
  13. Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For easier cutting, chill the brownies in the refrigerator for at least an hour before slicing.
  • You can use milk chocolate bars broken into pieces instead of chocolate chips.
  • Keep an eye on the marshmallows in the oven as they can burn quickly.
