  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12-16 breadsticks
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Enjoy the irresistible combination of creamy spinach artichoke dip and warm breadsticks in every bite. These stuffed breadsticks are a delightful appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the squeezed-dry spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, softened cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and minced garlic. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Season the spinach artichoke mixture with salt and pepper to your liking.
  4. Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. If the dough is one large piece, you can cut it in half to make two smaller logs of breadsticks, or work with it as a whole.
  5. Spread the spinach artichoke mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Carefully roll up the dough, starting from one of the longer sides, to enclose the filling. Pinch the seams to seal.
  7. Cut the rolled dough into desired breadstick lengths (about 3-4 inches each).
  8. Place the stuffed breadsticks onto the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down.
  9. Brush the tops of the breadsticks with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and puffed up.
  11. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra cheesy dip, add more mozzarella or Parmesan cheese to the filling.
  • You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling for a little heat.
  • Serve with your favorite marinara sauce for dipping.
