Description

Make these simple, no-bake sugar cookie truffles using pre-made cookies and cream cheese, coated in white chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16 ounce) package pre-made soft sugar cookies (like Lofthouse style)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces white chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother coating)

Instructions

  1. Place the sugar cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form. If you do not have a food processor, place them in a large zip-top bag and crush them thoroughly with a rolling pin.
  2. Transfer the cookie crumbs to a medium bowl. Add the softened cream cheese. Mix with a spatula or clean hands until the mixture is fully combined and holds together when pressed.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill the cookie balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the white chocolate wafers according to package directions. If using, stir in the coconut oil for a thinner consistency.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Tap the fork gently on the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
  7. Return the coated truffles to the parchment-lined sheet.
  8. Allow the chocolate coating to set completely at room temperature or chill briefly until firm.

Notes

  • For a festive look, you can sprinkle the wet chocolate coating with colored sprinkles before it sets.
  • If you prefer milk or dark chocolate, substitute the white chocolate wafers for your preferred melting chocolate.
  • If the mixture seems too sticky to roll, chill it for an additional 15 minutes before forming the balls.
