Description
Prepare this easy, no-bake dessert salad featuring fresh berries mixed into a sweet, creamy cheesecake-flavored topping. It is perfect for parties and potlucks.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 pint fresh blueberries
- 1 pint fresh raspberries
- 1 cup green grapes, halved
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Set aside.
- In a separate, chilled bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream and granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream mixture into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. Do not overmix. This is your cheesecake topping.
- In a very large serving bowl, combine the strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and halved grapes.
- Pour the cheesecake topping over the fruit mixture. Gently fold the fruit and topping together until the fruit is evenly coated.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to set.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add 2 ounces of softened cream cheese to the whipped cream base.
- If you want a crunch, sprinkle toasted pecans or graham cracker crumbs over the top just before serving.
- You can substitute any of the berries with pineapple chunks or mandarin oranges for a different fruit mix.
