Description
A simple recipe for tender, savory cauliflower roasted with a rich garlic butter coating.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Place the cauliflower florets in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat lightly.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the cauliflower. Toss everything together until all florets are evenly coated.
- Spread the coated cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Do not overcrowd the pan; use two sheets if necessary for better crisping.
- Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the cauliflower is tender inside and lightly browned and crispy on the edges.
- Remove from the oven. If using, immediately toss with fresh lemon juice and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, ensure your oven is fully preheated before placing the cauliflower inside.
- If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder to the butter mixture.
- Parsley or dried Italian herbs can be added with the Parmesan for color and flavor.
