Description
A refreshing and vibrant sangria perfect for any gathering, featuring a mix of fresh berries and sparkling wine.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750ml) dry white wine, chilled
- 1 cup sparkling wine or prosecco, chilled
- 1/2 cup berry-flavored liqueur (such as Chambord or raspberry liqueur)
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 cups mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the chilled white wine, berry-flavored liqueur, and orange juice.
- Add the mixed fresh berries and orange slices to the pitcher.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Just before serving, add the chilled sparkling wine or prosecco to the pitcher.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the sangria over the ice.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a sweeter sangria, add 1-2 tablespoons of simple syrup or honey.
- You can use any combination of berries you like.
- Feel free to add other fruits such as sliced peaches or lime.
- The longer the sangria chills (without the sparkling wine), the more the flavors will develop. Add the sparkling wine just before serving to maintain the fizz.
